The Prawns are raised using environment-friendly methods that are essential in producing healthy prawns. Each pond's environment is checked on a daily basis. Oxygen level, temperature, and turbidity are closely monitored. Fresh sea water is continuously pumped from the lagoon into each pond.

Another key step in producing high quality prawns is a careful selection of proper feed that contains no hormones, no antibiotics, no by-products from land animals, and no food coloring. Weekly samples of our prawns are collected from each pond to monitor their growth and health. The first harvest begins during the fourth month of growth. To avoid the heat of the sun, the harvest is usually done in the early morning hours. Each pond will be harvested several more times over the next few months.

Once harvested, the prawns go through a preliminary cleaning and sorting, immediately followed by an immersion in near freezing sea water. The prawns are then placed in trays with ice and transported in sealed refrigerated trucks to our packing plant.
